B I N G O

The Knights of Columbus is again in charge of the Bingo Tent at the Heritage Festival in Riverside Park, on the 18th, 19th and 20th of August.  The Ladies Auxiliary run the pop and water stand in one corner of the tent.  We are asking all ladies to donate some pop (cans please) and bottled water.   You can pick it up at the stores now while they are having good sales and we will sell at the Bingo tent to raise money for some of our projects.  If you are unable to help at the tent I ask that you sign up to sit at the beverage stand and collect the money.

We do need for you to help just for a few hours.  It is under the tent so the sun will not be beating on you.

VOCATION DINNER

It is that time of year again where we Roast one of our favorite priest to raise money for the Seminarians and Novices in the Lansing Diocese.   This year we have the privilege to Roast Fr. Mike Kuchar.   St. John’s was his first parish and then he moved on to other parishes in the diocese.  Tickets will go on sale in a couple of weeks.  We will need help to sell them after all of the Masses.  They are still $30.00, each which includes, Social Hour, sit down family style dinner (on real plates) and after the Roast, dessert and coffee.   Please call Daryl or Maggie 434-1626 or Tom or Margaret 572-1880.   We also need help to set up the day before…more details to follow.
